Al-Shamalia

2022

Al-Shamalia is the old town in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. It was built in the 50s as the oil industry developed around Khobar.  Today it is still inhabited by some Saudis, but mainly Filipinos and Pashtuns, and lots and lots of stray cats.  These pictures were shot over a few weekends in June 2022.
